Pozily
Pozily is a Shopify app for merchants. This page explains what data it stores, what it reads from your store, and what it sends to a third-party AI provider to generate content.
When you install Pozily, Shopify issues an access token scoped to your store so the app can operate. Pozily stores that session (shop domain, access token, and account details Shopify provides) only for as long as the app stays installed.
Your brand settings from onboarding (platform, brand voice, humor level, business goal, and any brand instructions you add), and the daily recommendations Pozily generates for you — the selected product, the marketing concept (hooks, script, shot list, caption, call to action), and your feedback on each one (used, saved, skipped, upvoted, downvoted). This is what powers Content History and lets Pozily avoid repeating the same idea.
Pozily reads your product catalog, inventory levels, and recent order activity from Shopify to decide which product to feature and to write accurate content about it. Pozily does not modify your products, inventory, or orders.
Pozily does not store your end customers' names, emails, or addresses in its own database. Order data is read only to gauge recent product performance, not to build customer profiles.
To write today's script and caption, Pozily sends your product information (title, price, description, collections, tags) and your brand settings to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI, depending on configuration). No end-customer personal data is included in that request.
Pozily implements Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks. If a customer requests their data or asks a store to delete it, Shopify notifies Pozily and — since Pozily holds no end-customer personal data — there is nothing further to remove. When a shop uninstalls Pozily, all of that shop's stored data (settings, recommendations, ideas, feedback history, and AI usage records) is deleted immediately, not just within Shopify's required window. Subscription status itself is never stored locally — Shopify's own billing system is the source of truth for that.
